IGEL Tech Memories from Sébastien Pérusat – February 2022

Dear IGEL Community,

DISRUPT IS BACK BABY!! We just release the dates for the NA US and EMEA Events, I couldn’t be happier!

Seeing real people, in real places again. I had the chance to join a few Disrupt onsite events last Autumn, but I’m seeking MORE! I look forward to meeting you, dear reader as soon as possible!


Our plans for 2022 are HUGE, I mean reviewing my last 8 years at IGEL, I would say the HUGEST change in our History. You might already have got a teaser on our IGEL Community about IGEL OS 12 and Universal Management Suite 12, that’s what I’m talking about! Can’t say too much, or I might get shot or my family kidnapped, so, please keep the secret: we are launching something huge this year,


February itself was a “back to normal” month, Calls are increasing, planning for Meetups/events is raising and you wonderful people are very active in the IGEL Community, THANK YOU for that!

  • As mentioned above, we are adding new Technology Partners all the time. The following partners joined the IGEL Community. Visit them on the IGEL Community on Slack. This month we mostly focused on existing Partners and created a few groups to get them easily integrated into Slack Discussions

  1. IGEL Community Video page: the unpronounceable Tech Tip Tuesday: once a week you will get short 5-10 Min. tutorials related to actual Hot topics coming from the IGEL Community.

  1. I’m recording some short videos on “how to” achieving simple tasks, as GIFs. Please let me know if you need a specific topic

  2. UPDATED: Advanced Services created a Unified Communication in a Box Getting started Guide, explaining how to set up different Unified Communications solutions on our IGEL OS and server-side. Check out the latest best practices there!

  1. Nolt Feature Proposal is live for a couple of weeks now, please check it out! This Feature Proposals Board will not only give you the ability to share your product ideas, but you can vote for existing items. Your votes help us understand which suggestions/ideas are essential to you.

IGEL Award Winners (INSIDERS & VIPs)

We shared the following in the IGEL INSIDERS & VIPs group, a private channel for award winners who have selflessly raised the bar through their contributions to others and community leadership:
